Leelanau Grown 2026 Highlights

We’re basking in the afterglow of this year’s Leelanau Grown: Feast & Fundraiser, and we have YOU to thank. On July 221 more than 200 friends and supporters came together at the stunning Aurora Vineyards Estate Farmhouse venue to raise an incredible $127,185 in support of early childhood education in our community.

All funds raised support LCC’s Financial Aid Program, which ensures that every child in our region has access to high-quality early childhood care and education.

A Taste of the Night:

• A moving testimonial from LCC alum parent and local business owner Skyler Fort, who reminded us all how access to quality childcare supports working families and the future of Leelanau County.

The highlight? The evening’s paddle raise which sparked more than $100K in giving, including a spirited live auction for an incredible 2-night escape to North Farm with a private dinner by Chef Abra Berens, a full-to-bursting, everything you need for a Leelanau Beach Day package from our friends at Harbor House, and a top of the line Aventon 5 E-bike from Suttons Bay Bikes - all driven by a shared commitment to Leelanau’s children and families.
