Preschool Teacher - 2025/2026 school year positions are filled.

The Leelanau Children’s Center is open to receiving applications from persons interested in becoming a full-time Preschool Teacher at LCC. We look for early childhood educators with preschool teaching or childcare experience, with an understanding of research-based preschool curricula and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices.
LCC teachers can problem-solve positively and work collaboratively within a team. They are able to work with diverse families and engage parents as partners in their child’s learning and well-being.

Experience Preferred

● Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, preferred.
● Child Development Associate Degree. LCC will provide training and funding for CDA certification within one year of hire for qualified candidates.

Support Staff - 2025/2026 school year positions are filled.

Our support staff at LCC are essential to the consistency and quality of our program. Support staff participate in each of our classrooms helping the classroom teachers on a daily basis. The hours are based on need and range from 30-40 hours per week. Full benefits are offered to applicants who will work 30+ hrs per week.

Support staff with early childhood education credentials are preferred, but LCC will also provide training and funding for a Child Development Associates certification within one year of hire.
