Each April, Leelanau Children’s Center celebrates the Month of the Young Child—a joyful, community-wide tribute to early childhood and the phenomenal importance of care and learning in a child’s first years. Through hands-on activities, open house fun, and opportunities to connect LCC teachers and families, this annual celebration shines a spotlight on the wonder of early childhood and the power of play-based learning.
